A big congratulations to our Boys and Girls Cricket teams who did really well in the recent Dragon Sports festivals. The boys played well and came third in their festival at Miskin Cricket Ground.
The Girls won all their games on Thursday at the AstroTurf and are now looking forward to the national festival at the new SWALEC stadium in Cardiff on July 5Th.

Cambrain Football
Year 3 have taken part in a football and ICT course led by Cambrian FC. Three coaches led a 6 week programme teaching new football skills. They also then led an ICT session. Year 3 had lots of fun and would like to say thank you to Cambrian coaches.

World Book Day
Lots of the class brought their favourite books to school today to share with everyone. Horrid Henry was a firm favourite, with Nicholas, Thomas, Shauna and Elise all bringing different adventures .
Lewis's favourite book was Match. "I like football and play for the boys club so I like to read all the tips," he tells the class.
Jake enjoys reading book about the war. He says "l likes to find out about what happened before I was born."
Carla's favourite book was Hansel and Gretle because "it has a happy ending."
Dominic's favourite book is SpongeBob Rocks.
Taran enjoys reading Star Wars and his favourite charater is Ancien
Carys enjoyed showing us her Mum and Dad's wedding and Josh likes all the wow words he finds in the Ben 10 books.
Athletics Team
Children are awarded their certificates in assembly. the team done incredibly well, winning every one of their team sprints.
